NORFOLK, Va. -- In what has become a must-see event at the Ted Constant Center, the 16th Annual Hoops For The Cure game, presented by Bon Secours in Motion Physical Therapy Sports Performance, is set for Saturday when the Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts UTEP at 2 p.m.

Old Dominion (7-19, 5-7 C-USA) is riding a four-game home winning streak and is 5-3 in the last eight games. On Wednesday, the Monarchs overcame a 16-point deficit to defeat Florida Atlantic, 59-54, behind a career-high 22 points from MaKayla Timmons.
As a team, the Monarchs are shooting 48 percent from the field and 59 percent from beyond the arc in the last two games.
Individually, freshman Victoria Morris leads the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game and Kelly Loftus, who is 20 points shy of 1,000 for her career, is averaging 18.0 points in the last two games.
ODU has won three straight against UTEP and lead the all-time series, 5-2.

UTEP (14-10, 5-6 C-USA) is coming off of a 66-64 loss to last-place Marshall on Thursday evening. The Miners are a half game ahead of ODU in the league standings, but are just 1-3 in their last four games. Tamara Seda leads the team with 14.7 points and 9.4 rebounds. As a team, UTEP is ourebounding its opponents by an average of eight boards per game.
