NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion’s Aziz Kijametovic earned his second Conference USA Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week award of the season on Wednesday afternoon, as announced by C-USA officials. Kijametovic is the only player in the conference to win this award twice so far this season.
Kijametovic picked up two singles wins last week, with the second being in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) against No. 25 nationally ranked South Carolina. Kijametovic was dominate in singles against Louisiana Lafayette, taking down Jamie Fraser 6-0, 6-1. Aziz is now 7-1 in singles for the season, while he and doubles partner Fancois Musitelli are nationally ranked No. 30.
