NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts FIU on Friday at 11 a.m. for the second Education Day game of the season. The game will be streamed on CUSA.tv and aired locally on ESPN Radio 94.1.
In addition to Education Day No. 2, Friday's contest will also serve as Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day. ODU season-ticket holders are also encouraged to come out, as this version of Education Day will not alter seating for season-ticket holders.
Old Dominion (4-18, 2-6 C-USA) has won its last two home games, defeating UTSA and Marshall two weekends ago at The Ted. Overall, the Monarchs are 3-2 in their last five home games.
Freshman Victoria Morris and senior Odegua Oigbokie are both averaging double figures to lead the Monarchs on the offensive end. Morris, who hit a career-high six three-pointers at LA Tech last weekend, leads all freshmen in the nation in threes made.
Defensively, ODU has held four of its last five opponents under 60 points.
ODU leads the all-time series against FIU, 5-3, and has won the last four meetings.

FIU (6-14, 3-4 C-USA) has yet to win a road game, as the Panthers enter Friday 0-6 away from home. In C-USA paly, FIU owns wins over Rice, LA Tech and Marshall. Kiandre'a Pound and Kristian Hudson both average over 14 points to lead the Panthers offensively.
