NORFOLK, Va. -- Following a 10-day hiatus, the Old Dominion women's basketball team returns to action this weekend at William & Mary on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Kaplan Arena.
The game will be televised on Cox-YurView (channels 11 and 1011 HD in the Norfolk Area). A live online stream will also be available on TribeAthletics.com.
The contest is the second game of a four-game roadstand for Old Dominion (1-8). Last time out, the Monarchs fell at VCU on Dec. 6.
Freshman guard Victoria Morris leads the team in scoring with 12.0 points per game and has reached double figured in all but one game so far this season. Odegua Oigbokie is second on the team in scoring with 9.9 points, while MaKayla Timmons is averaging 8.0 points and leads the team with 3.7 assists per game.
ODU leads the all-time series against the Tribe, 56-6. During a stretch from 1975 to 2011, the Monarchs posted a 52-game winning streak against William & Mary. However, the Tribe have won four of the last seven matchups.
Following Sunday's contest, ODU has a quick turnaround and will head to Las Vegas for the Holiday Hoops Classic on Dec. 21 and 22. The Monarchs will take on Oakland and Abilene Christian in the Sin City.
