Old Dominion defeated South Carolina Wednesday night, 2-0 to move onto the semifinal match. The game will be streamed FREE on CUSA.tv.

On Wednesday night, Tom Wustenberg and Jimmy Filerman notched goals that propelled the Monarchs over the Gamecocks.

Mertcan Akar tallied his seventh shutout this season during a wet night in Norfolk.

“We hope that the crowd will be multiplied by two or three times on Friday night. We are hoping for a big crowd Friday night and we look forward to it,” said head coach Alan Dawson.

10 separate Monarchs have scored throughout this season, including two defenders, Fox Slotemaker and Jimmy Filerman

The last time the Monarchs have had over 10 wins in a season was in 2014, when ODU was crowned C-USA Champions.
