IRVING, Texas - Junior Niko Klosterhalfen was named to the 2017 Men's Soccer C-USA All-Academic Team on Wednesday afternoon. Just 15 student-athletes were named to the squad.
The native of Germany is majoring in psychology and has posted a 3.84 GPA.
Earlier in the week, Klosterhalfen was named to the C-USA Second Team along with Brandon Perdue and Fox Slotemaker.
Klosterhalfen has played in 16 games for the Monarchs and notched four goals. In the game against VCU, Klosterhalfen knocked in the game-winning goal. He also has tallied two assists for the Monarchs.
