IRVING, Texas – Old Dominion University senior running back Ray Lawry was named the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, C-USA announced on Monday.
Lawry had 19 carries for a season-high 168-yards and two touchdowns in the Monarchs’ 37-30 win at FIU on Saturday. He also caught three passes for 14-yards and a touchdown. Lawry scored on runs of one and 40-yards, and added an 11-yard touchdown catch. He also had a 65-yard run, the second longest run of his career.
For the season, Lawry has 99 attempts for 535 yards and six touchdowns in six games. He also has eight catches for 29 yards and a score.
