> Redshirt junior Isaiah Harper became the first player in ODU history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game, returning kicks for 97 and 98 yards to keep ODU in the game in the first half at North Texas. Harper’s 235 kick return yards are the most this season in FBS.

> True freshman Steven Williams Jr. completed 21-of-35 passes for 181-yards and two interceptions. The 181 yards is a career-high, while also rushing for a career-best 55 yards.

> Jeremy Cox rushed for 109-yards and a touchdown at North Texas. It was his second 100-yard rushing game of the season and fourth of his career.

> Redshirt freshman walk-on wide receiver Kevin Todd continues to improve, in his third game of the season he caught five passes for 45-yards, once again career-highs.

> Freshman kicker Nick Rice had his first career multi-field goal game, knocking in three field goals, including a 45-yarder, the second longest of his career.

> Junior linebacer Marvin Branch led the Monarchs with nine tackles, while fellow linebacker Jordan Young finished with eight stops.

> Bunmi Rotimi picked up a sack, keeping ODU’s streak of having a sack in every game this season.

> The Monarchs are 69-36 all-time since 2009, and are 23-22 in four years playing a full FBS schedule. Head Coach Bobby Wilder is the only head coach ODU has ever known since restarting the program.

Kicking it in Gear
Isaiah Harper became the first Monarchs and the third FBS player this season to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game last Saturday at North Texas. Harper returned his first kick 97-yards to tie the score at seven, and his second, a 98-yarder, kept ODU in the game. On the day, he had an FBS season-high of 235 kick return yards.

Since ODU restarted football in 2009, the
Monarchs are a solid 23-4 in the month of
November. ODU went 4-0 last season.

Rice For Three Times Three
True freshman kicker Nick Rice continued his solid freshman campaign with a 3-for-3 performance on field goals Saturday at North Texas, and 3-for-3 on extra points.

Rice is now 8-for-9 on the year in field goals and is 2-for-2 from beyond 40-yards. Rice’s only miss is a blocked 26-yard field goal against North Carolina.
His 10 field goals is tied for fourth most in a
single-season in ODU history.

There was One
Old Dominion left guard Tony Barnett is the only player this year to play every snap on offense. A
native of Roseland, Va., Barnett has started nine-straight games at left guard, dating back to last year’s bowl game.

Left tackle Isaac Weaver and center Nick Clarke have missed one snap each.
