NORFOLK, Va. - In his first start since returning from an injury in the season-opener, Ray Lawry rushed for 166-yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns on Friday against WKU. The 166-yards was the fifth highest total of the weekend.
A native of Logan Township, New Jersey, Lawry is the eighth leading active career rusher in FBS, with 3,588 career yards. He has the fifth most rushing touchdowns among active players with 42.
Lawry and the Monarchs travel to North Texas on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
