> Running backs Jeremy Cox and Ray Lawry combined for 92-yards on 29 carries in the loss at Marshall. Lawry played for the first time since the opener, rushing 14 times for 40-yards.

> True freshman Steven Williams Jr. started his third game last week at Marshall, completing 14-of-27 passes for 116-yards and an
interception.

> Senior wide receiver Melvin Vaughn caught a season-high five passes for 55 yards. True freshmen receivers Jake Herslow and Kevin Todd made their first career catches at Marshall. Herslow caught two passes for 14-yards, while Todd caught one pass for 17-yards.

> Junior linebacker Marvin Branch finished one off his career-best with 14 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss at Marshall. Fellow linebacker Jordan Young had seven tackles and half a tackle for loss.

> Junior defensive end Oshane Ximines notched four tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss.

Linebackers Are Now Experienced (Kind Of)
Old Dominion did not have a start at linebacker before the season, but Marvin Branch and Jordan Young have taken hold of the position, as each have started the first six games of the year. Branch and Young are second and third, respectively, on the squad in tackles. Branch notched 14 tackles last week at Marshall.

D-Line leading the Way
Junior defensive tackle Miles Fox battled injuries last season, but through six games this year, Fox is fourth on the team and leads ODU defensive linemen with 44 tackles and is second on the squad with 4.5 sacks.

Book Ends
Oshane Ximines Ximines passed teammate Bunmi Rotimi for the ODU all-time sacks record. Ximines has a sack in 5-of-6 games this season. He is 15th in the country in sacks.

Rotimi missed two games with a knee injury. He returned against Marshall and made three tackles and blocked a field goal.
