NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (7-3-2, 4-1-0 C-USA) will travel to Hattiesburg to square-off against Southern Miss (6-6-1, 0-4-1 C-USA) on Friday, Oct. 13 at 5:00 p.m. EST, before taking on LA Tech (9-2-4, 2-1-2 C-USA) in Ruston on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

“We are hungry, desperate to learn and keep getting better in key areas,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind. “This is another challenging road trip for us, but challenging is what we do, it’s part of the conference and it’s exciting. We have to be ready to play our style and do what we can to get two wins. Yes, being on the road is challenging, but it is also a lot of fun for our kids because we are together more and we actually get to spend a lot more quality time together.”

The Monarchs have lost just one match in their past eight outings and are off to its best start ever in Conference USA play.

ODU is 3-2-2 when playing on the road this season, USM is 4-2-1 at home and LA Tech is 3-1-2 on its own turf.
