NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team opens up its fall schedule at the Janney Invitational this week at Tuckahoe Creek Country Club in Richmond.
The tournament kicks off with 36 holes on Monday and concludes with the final 18 on Tuesday. Action begins with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:45 a.m. Live scoring is available via GolfStat.
The VCU-hosted event serves as the season opener for head coach Murray Rudisill and the Monarchs after last week's Golfweek Program Championship in Myrtle Beach was canceled due to Hurricane Irma.
The field features VCU, Virginia Tech, Radford, George Washington, Richmond, Coastal Carolina, Rutgers, West Virginia, Charlotte, Maryland, James Madison and ODU.
Tuckahoe Creek is a Par 72 course with a total yardage of 6,927. Last year, the Monarchs placed 11th out of 14 teams in the tournament. Casper Aneman was the highest-placing ODU player, finishing in a tie for 24th.
