Norfolk, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s soccer team (2-1-1) is set to play Campbell (4-1-0) after a schedule change. The Monarchs will host the Fighting Camels in a non-conference match at the ODU Soccer Complex, Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7:00 pm.
The Monarchs are coming off a 1-1 tie with Iona on Sept. 3, while the Camels won their last match against Howard on Sept. 9 by a score of 3-0.
Leading the Monarchs in goals, Freshman Brandon Perdue tallied three goals in the last four games for the Silver and Blue.
Behind Perdue, Junior Max Wilschrey has two goals on the season.
Hans Kroschwitz, Niko Klosterhalfen, Jimmy Filerman, and Tyler Edwards have also contributed a goal to the teams scoring, each notching one goal in the past four contests.
Goalkeeper Mertcan Akar has played every minute for the Monarchs, having 14 saves throughout the season.
About Campbell
The Camels enter the contest coming off a four-game win streak. The only loss Campbell has is against North Florida by a score of 2-0. Junior JJ Donnelly had three goals in their last game against Howard, leading their team in scoring for the season. Senior goalkeeper Matthew Mozynski has played 465 minutes in the net for the Camels, having 19 saves for the Orange and Black. The teams last met in 2004, the Monarchs topped the Fighting Camels 1-0.

With a $25 purchase of the 2017 Soccer Voucher book, fans receive 20 ticket vouchers that can be used in any combination to gain entry to any men's (or women’s) regular season game at the ODU Soccer Complex.
The vouchers can be redeemed in any quantity and represent a 75% savings over purchasing general admission tickets at the gate. In addition to entry to the games, the first 200 fans that purchase their ticket voucher books will receive an ODU soccer scarf.
