ODUsports.com will introduce the newcomers for the 2017-18 women's lacrosse team. Today we will introduce Glory Johnson.
Q: Why did you choose ODU?
GJ: Old Dominion has the athletic facilities, campus, coaching staff and academics that are outstanding. I wanted to be a part of what they’re program stands for and to be in an environment where I could not only grow as a player, but as a person.
Q: What is your major?
GJ: Marketing
Q: What are your team and individual goals for the season?
GJ: As a team, it is to win the conference and make it into NCAA tournament. As an individual, it is to play to my potential every time I step on the field.
Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
GJ: I hate chocolate!
Q: When did you start playing lacrosse, and why?
GJ: I started playing lacrosse in first grade because all my cousins played and my father and uncles did too!
Q: What are you looking most forward to on game day?
GJ: I am looking forward to stepping out on the field and leaving it all out there and to be with a great group of girls and coaches!
Q: Who do you look up to and why?
GJ: I look up to my Mom because of how strong she is and how she manages to be such a great mom even when I am eights hours away from her!
Q: Who from history would you like meet and dine with? Why?
GJ: I would like to meet President JFK because he is my favorite President!
Q: Name one movie that you saw this year, and would recommend to others?
GJ: Zootopia!
Q: If you were on a deserted island, and could only take three things with you, what would they be, and why?
GJ: A great book, food, and a boat.

GJ: Smiley Face emoji.
Q: If you could choose one place to visit, where would you go, and why?
GJ: Greece, I have always wanted to go because of how beautiful it is there.

GJ: Rap!

GJ: Christmas because of the smells, decorations, presents, and being with family.

GJ: Eat a pack of Wild Berry Skittles and listen to music.

GJ: I see myself just getting started in the job field of being a Pharmaceutical Rep and traveling parts of the world!
