Football Fall Camp Recap - Day Eight

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football practiced for the eighth time this fall camp on Wednesday morning.

The workout was held in shorts, shoulder pads and helmets, and lasted about an hour and a half.

Practice featured inside run, one on one receiving routes with the running backs against the linebackers, 7 on 7 and team drills.

In the team session, Drayton Arnold found Jonathan Duhart found for a 60-yard touchdown pass, and Prince Ajegwu nearly pulled down an interception for the defense.

The Monarchs will host their annual Media Day on Friday as Ted Alexander and Andy Mashaw will host a live stream during the event starting at 2 p.m. Alexander and Mashaw will preview the season, talk to head coach Bobby Wilder and several student-athletes during the event. The Monarchs open the season at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Albany at 6 p.m.
