NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team earned the 2017 GCAA All-Academic Team Award with a cumulative GPA above 3.00, the GCAA announced on Wednesday.
Under the guidance of long-time head coach Murray Rudisill, the Monarchs recorded a team GPA of 3.24 during the 2016-17 academic year. The team posted a 3.26 GPA in the fall and a 3.21 in the spring.
A total of 187 teams, including 102 programs from Division I, submitted GPAs of 3.00 or higher to earn All-Academic Team recognition.
