OKLAHOMA CITY – Old Dominion University senior cornerback Brandon Addison was named to the 2017 Paycom Jim Thorpe Award Watch List. The award is given to the top defensive back in college football.
A senior, Addison holds all three ODU pass breakups records, including a career with 21, a season with 11 in 2015, and game with five, last season against Marshall.
In 2016, Addison had 47 tackles, three tackles for loss, and registered the first two interceptions of his career. He has started 25-straight games the last two seasons and one of just three Monarchs to start every game the past two seasons (Rashaad Coward, TJ Ricks).
