Old Dominion University Sailing put together their second-consecutive strong week, taking third place at the MAISA Team Race Challenge and third place at the C.J. Woollum Regatta over the weekend.

The Monarchs finished second at the MAISA Team Race, sporting a 13-4 overall record over the weekend. The team concisted of skippers Jack Elkin, James Jacob, Dreugh Phillips and Jeremy Herrin, and crew Elleanor Wells, Dane Pedersen, Stephen Guglielmo.

The squad went 5-2 in the first round, featuring wins over Christopher Newport, Cornell, NY Maritime, Penn and Virginia, while falling to Fordham and St. Mary's.

ODU went 6-1, picking up a win over Fordham, and the lone loss coming to St. Mary;s.

The Monarchs advanced to the weekend's final four, falling to St. Mary's in the opener, before topping Fordham and Cornell to finish in second place.

Old Dominion netted a third place finish at the C.J. Woollum Regatta as well over the weekend.

The Division A squad of Brendon Wilkins and Molly Sternberg notched five top 5's to take third, while George White and Abigail Lockler had seven top 5's, and two race wins.

Olivia Windemuller and Victoria Ewing place in third in Division C with four top five spots.
