Kennesaw State opened the first 12 minutes of the second half with a 7-3 run pulling within two goals, 13-11 of ODU. Cameron scored in the 43rd minute to give the Lady Monarchs a three-goal lead before KSU scored back-to-back goals closing the gap to one, 14-13.

Marrale scored off the Tutchton assist to give bit of insurance for the home team before the visitors from Macon, Georgia, retaliated from Catts putting the score at 15-14. Cameron sealed the deal with 1:53 to go on a free position shot to put ODU up 16-14.

The Lady Monarchs return to action on Sunday, April 23, at 1 p.m. as the Bears from Mercer converge on the L.R. Hill Sports Complex for the final home game of the season. The lacrosse program will recognize their six seniors prior to the start of the game.
