RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. -- The Old Dominion women's golf team concluded rounds two and three at SDSU's March Mayhem on Tuesday, falling to fifth-ranked USC but bouncing back with a win over No. 4 seed San Diego State.
After falling against No. 5 USC, Old Dominion advanced past San Diego State, 3-2-0, in the fifth-place bracket. Sana Tufail, Katerina Vlasinova and Maggie Simmermacher earned wins to give the Monarchs the victory over the Aztecs. For the full scoring for the ODU vs. SDSU match, click here.
In round four, the Monarchs got underway against third-seeded Arizona, but the remainder of the match was postponed until Wednesday morning due to loss of daylight. The wildcats currently lead ODU, 4-1, as Rachel Walker was the lone Monarch in the lead at the time of the postponement.
