WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team wrapped up day two of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in a tie for 11th place with Temple. Individually, Nick Rencis leads the Monarchs in 27th place, while David Langley is one stroke behind in 32nd place.
Penn State remains in the team lead through two rounds, while Tennessee is in second and Louisville is in third place. The Monarchs improved by 13 strokes in round two, collectively shooting a 293 compared to yesterday's 306, and are currently 39 strokes over par in an 11th place tie with Temple.
Langley improved by six strokes in round two, firing a 71, while Rencis shot a 72 in the second round. Rencis currently sits in 27th place (+7), while Langley is just a stroke behind (+8) in 32nd place. Antonio Cruz-Conde is in 52nd 10 strokes over par.
Old Dominion concludes the Kingsmill Intercollegiate with the third and final round slated to get underway tomorrow morning.
