NORFOLK, Va. -- Following the sweep of Rice to open Conference USA play, Old Dominion hosts 2016 Ivy League champion Princeton for a pair of midweek games this week at the Bud Metheny Complex. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Old Dominion (15-4, 3-0 C-USA) is coming off of a 4-0 week that begin with a 14-2 victory over VMI and ended with a 3-0 sweep of preseason C-USA favorite Rice. The Monarchs, who are receiving votes in the latest NCBWA Top 30, have now won five straight and will look to improve upon their 14-4 record at The Bud this season.

Princeton (2-9, 0-0 Ivy League) was an NCAA Regional team a year ago after winning the Ivy League Championship. The Tigers, who have played all 11 of their games away from home, have lost four in a row after getting swept at Maryland last weekend.

The all-time series is tied, 8-8, as the Monarchs won both games last year.

Right-hander Joe Strzelecki, who is coming off of his best start of the season after allowing one earned run in four innings against VMI, is projected to start on Tuesday and senior lefty Jake Josephs is expected to get the nod on Wednesday.
