Norfolk, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (9-5) will take on Marshall (8-6) on Sunday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. This match was originally scheduled for 11:00 a.m., but has since been pushed back two hours.
ODU’s No. 84 ranked Holly Hutchinson is coming off a singles victory against Iowa. Also nationally ranked for Old Dominion is No. 89 Borislava Botusharova, who plays in the No. 1 slot.
Three of ODU’s past six matches have been against nationally ranked opponents. Old Dominion is 7-2 at home this season.
Meet Marshall
Marshall has started the season at 8-6 and has previously been ranked in the top 50 this season. The Lady Monarchs and the Thundering Herd met twice last season. Marshall claimed a 5-2 victory in the regular season finale, before ODU ended Marshall’s season with a 4-0 win in the Quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament.
