ODUSports will feature a women’s lacrosse freshman each week during the season for fans to get to know the 2017 freshman class. Today’s Q&A is with Megan Donohue, a freshman defender from Lititz, Pa.

Q: Why choose Old Dominion?
A: The lacrosse program, and the academics fit everything I was looking for.

Q: Best part about your sport?
A: Winning, there’s no feeling like it.

Q: What team are you most looking forward to playing this year?
A: Jacksonville.

Q: Funniest teammate is?
A: Kati Maggio.

Q: Favorite place to hangout on campus that is not lacrosse associated?
A: Whitehurst Beach.

Q: Who is your favorite sports team?
A: ODU LAX.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: Running and listening to music; simultaneously and separately.

Q: If price didn’t matter, where in the world would you like to travel? Why?
A: Definitely Italy for the pizza. 

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?
A: I have run in multiple half marathons.

Q: Who from history would you like meet and dine with?
A: Albert Einstein. 

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pizza.

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: Rich Roll. He’s one of the most inspiring Ultra-athletes I’ve ever known.

Q: What is your favorite music genre?
A: Country.

Q: Who are your favorite music artists?
A: Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton.

Q: Who would you like to see in concert that you haven’t yet seen?
A: The Chainsmokers.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: The Home Alone series.

Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: Thanksgiving.

Q: Are you a road trip or a direct flight kind of person?
A: Direct flight for sure. I have places to be!!

Q: Three things you would take with you on a deserted island?
A: Food, water, and my dog Dave.

Q: Would you ever go on reality TV? If so which show?
A: Absolutely not.

Q: Your biggest quark?
A: I FaceTime my dog at least once a day. He’s my bestie.

Q: Dogs or cats?
A: Dogs.

Q: Do you have any pets?
A: Yes, a dog named Dave, and I had a gerbil named “Chika-Chika”. RIP Chika-Chika.
