ODUSports will feature a women’s lacrosse freshman each week during the season for fans to get to know the 2017 freshman class. Today’s Q&A is with Stephanie Allen, a freshman defender/midfielder from Corning, N.Y.

Q: Why choose Old Dominion?
A: I love the area, campus, team, and coaches.

Q: Best part about your sport?
A: Being on a team.

Q: What team are you most looking forward to playing this year?
A: Jacksonville.

Q: Favorite place to hangout on campus that is not lacrosse associated?
A: Einstein Bros Bagels.

Q: Funniest teammate is?
A: Morgan Marrale.

Q: Your biggest quark?
A: When I get excited about something I tend to hit the nearest object or person.

Q: What is an interesting fact about you?
A: I live on a farm.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?
A: Camping, watching movies, reading.

Q: If price didn’t matter, where in the world would you like to travel? Why?
A: Bora Bora, I love seeing pictures from there.

Q: Who from history would you like meet and dine with?
A: Paul Walker.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Homemade macaroni & cheese.

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: Michelle Tumolo.

Q: What is your favorite music genre?
A: Country.

Q: Who is your favorite music artist?
A: Thomas Rhett.

Q: What are your favorite movies?
A: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, This Means War, Finding Dory.

Q: Who would you like to see in concert that you haven’t yet seen?
A: Maroon 5, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan.

Q: Three things you would take with you on a deserted island?
A: Lighter, toilet paper, chocolate.

Q: Would you ever go on reality TV? If so which show?
A: Yes, the Bachelor/Bachelorette.

Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: Christmas.

Q: Are you a road trip or a direct flight kind of person?
A: Generally I prefer direct flights. Although it depends on who I am traveling with.

Q: Dogs or cats?
A: Dogs.

Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I have a dog named Moo.
