ATLANTA, Ga. - Old Dominion University women's swimming finished the Conference USA Championship in fifth place as the championship ended Saturday night on the campus of Georgia Tech.
Jacklyn VandePoel finished sixth in the 200 backstroke, just 0.47 ahead of her sister, Colleen VandePoel who took seventh with a time of 2:00.74.
Ashley Brem finished in fifth place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:16.04, while Ashley Teller notched a seventh place position with a time of 2:17.55.
The ODU 400 freestyle relay team of Sofie Sjoberg, Jacklyn VandePoel, Colleen VandePoel and Stephanie Norris took fifth with a time of 3:28.13.
ODU finished the championship in fifth place with a total of 326 points. FIU won the championship with 922.5 points.
