NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s basketball team (16-10, 9-5) and its fifth nationally ranked scoring defense wraps up its home games for the season this week as the Monarchs host the Thundering Herd of Marshall (15-12, 8-6) on Thursday night, Feb. 23, at 8:00 p.m. on beIN Sports.

Senior Night
As for Saturday night, Feb. 25, at 7:00 p.m., the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (13-14, 7-7) come to The Ted Constant Convocation Center for the Monarchs’ home finale, which marks Senior Night. Saturday night’s contest will air on ESPN3.
ODU Athletics asks fans to be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. on Saturday night to honor its two seniors, Jordan Baker and Denzell Taylor prior to tipoff.
What You Need to Know
The Monarchs are riding a two-game winning-streak, while averaging 77.5 points, and holding teams to 55 points per contest. Also, they are in a two-way tie for third place in the C-USA Standings with UTEP. The top four seeds after the conclusion of the regular season receive a first round bye for the 2017 C-USA Tournament.

Coming into Thursday night in conference play, the Monarchs are led in scoring by their sophomore guard Ahmad Caver (15.4 ppg), followed by fellow sophomores B.J. Stith (13.6 ppg) and Zoran Talley (13.3 ppg).
Marshall
Marshall is sitting right below ODU in the C-USA Standings in a two-way tie for fourth place with Rice. Entering Thursday, the Herd have five players averaging double figures, while averaging 86.2 points per contest as a team. Marshall is led by the leading scorer in the C-USA, Jon Elmore (20.1 ppg). Stevie Browning (15.2 ppg) and senior forward Ryan Taylor (14.8 ppg) follow.
WKU
The Hilltoppers enter the week in sixth place in the C-USA standings at 7-7, after a victory against UAB last Saturday. WKU is paced by their three senior leaders in scoring, Justin Johnson (14.2 ppg), Que Johnson (14.1 ppg) and Pancake Thomas (13.2).

Old Dominion Senior Associate Athletic Director Ted Alexander will take care of the play-by-play duties, while ODU Hall of Famer and former NBA champion Dave Twardzik will handle color commentary. Ted and Dave’s live pregame show will begin at 7:30 p.m. EST on Thursday and at 6:30 p.m. EST on Saturday.
