PALM DESERT, Calif. -- Antonio Cruz-Conde fired a 72 (E) on day two of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, wrapping up the second of three rounds in 20th place. As a team, the Monarchs will head into the third and final day of the tournament in 17th place.
No. 10 Oregon maintains a four-stroke lead heading into the final day, while No. 24 Colorado and No. 34 Kansas are in second and third place, respectively. The Monarchs are in 17th place, 23 strokes over par.
Individually, Antonio Cruz-Conde fired another 72 (E) in round two, claiming a 20th place spot heading into the final round. Senior David Langley improved by eight strokes in round two, firing a 70 on Saturday to land himself in 46th place. Calvin Greschner is in 69th heading into day three on Sunday.
