ATHENS, Ga. - Filip Svedberg and Jacob Zeidler won the first individual events of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championship for Old Dominion Friday night on the third night of the championship.
A freshman, Svedberg won the 100 fly with a NCAA B-cut time in 47.64
Zeidler gave ODU its second individual win of the championship in the 100 breaststroke with an NCAA B-cut time of 54.48.
ODU won its second relay in as many days, winning the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:14.48. Anton Mikaelsson, Zeidler, Svedberg and Graham Thatcher were a part of the team.
Mikaelsson added a fifth place finish in the 400 IM.
The Monarchs remain in fifth place, 19 points behind fourth place Florida Atlantic.
