IRVING, Texas – No. 24 nationally ranked Adam Moundir (Luzern, Switzerland) of the Old Dominion men’s tennis team was named Conference USA Player of the Week after going 3-0 in singles action last week, while leading the Tennis Monarchs to a 3-0 start for the 2017 season.
Moundir started to the 2017 season with a perfect 3-0 record, after downing No. 37 Nick Horton of NC State after losing the first set (6-7, 6-3, 6-3) in Raleigh, N.C. Moundir then defeated No. 52 ranked Ben Dunbar of Richmond in straight sets 6-3, 6-2. Moundir capped of the trifecta with another win over Howard’s Ismael Kaoucher (6-3, 2-6, 6-3).
This is Moundir's second C-USA award of his career, while he was also named the Conference USA Player of the Month for October.

The Old Dominion men’s tennis team will be back in action for the Pre-National Kick-Off (Harvard, Furman, San Francisco) in Boston, Mass. on Jan. 21-22.
