NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team heads to Coral Gables, Florida, for a showdown with No. 18/16 Miami (FL) on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN3/ACC Network Extra with Joe Zagacki (pbp) and Cindy Russo (color) on the call. Sunday's contest can also be heard live on ESPN Radio 94.1 with commentary from Doug Ripley (pbp) and Susan Montgomery (color).
Old Dominion (3-2) heads into Sunday on a two-game winning streak after defeating Dartmouth, 82-56, on the Sixth Annual Education Day on Wednesday. In front of a Ted Constant Center record crowd of 8,563, Jennie Simms poured in a season-high 35 points to lead ODU to the win.
Miami (6-1) is coming off of a 94-89 overtime victory over No. 10/9 Ohio State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Thursday night. The Canes' only loss of the season came to No. 19/19 Kentucky in the season opener, 82-66.
This is the first of three trips to Florida for the Lady Monarchs this season. ODU also heads to the Sunshine State for the Florida Sunshine Classic (Dec. 20-21) and then a weekend trip for FIU (Feb. 2) and Florida Atlantic (Feb. 4).
