NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University diver Cory Moreno was named Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Diver of the Week for the second time this season, the CCSA announced on Tuesday.
Moreno registered an NCAA Zone qualifying score of 303.37 to win the 1-meter dive at UMBC on Saturday and won the 3-meter five with a score of 281.17, a nearly 40 point margin of victory over the second place diver.
Moreno and the Monarchs host Georgetown on Saturday, Nov. 5. The diving starts at 11 a.m., while the meet starts at 2 p.m.
