NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts North Carolina Central at the Ted Constant Center on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on CUSA.tv and can also be heard on ESPN Radio 94.1. Both the live stream and radio call will feature live commentary from Doug Ripley (pbp) and Susan Montgomery (color).
Old Dominion (1-2) is looking to end its two-game losing skid after falling to William & Mary last Friday and then to Duke earlier this week. The Lady Monarchs, who opened the season with an 11-point victory over Norfolk State, are led by Jennie Simms, who ranks third in the NCAA and first in C-USA with 26.7 points per game.
Destinee Young is second on the team in scoring with 12.7 points and also leads the team in rebounding with a 9.7 average. As a team, the Lady Monarchs have outrebounded their opponents by an average of seven boards per game and are shooting 42.4 percent as a team on the offensive end.
North Carolina Central (1-3) has opened the season with one win in its first four games. The lone victory was a 75-38 win over Johnson & Wales, while the three defeats have come to Pfeiffer, Coastal Carolina and Campbell.
Senior Morgan Jones is the only Lady Eagle averaging double figures with 10.0 points per game, along with a team-high 5.8 rebounds per game.
