NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University quarterback David Washington is one of eight quarterbacks named a Manning Award Star of the Week, the Manning Award, Sponsored by the Allstate Sugar Bowl announced on Monday.

Washington had a career day in ODU's 42-24 win over Florida Atlantic, completing 26-of-36 passes for a career-high 416 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 21 yards for 437 yards of total offense. His 84-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Cox is ODU's longest play as an FBS member.
