ODU Travels to Richmond for Mon. Game on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic

RICHMOND, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s basketball team (1-0) travels to Richmond (1-0) for a 7:00 p.m. game on Monday, Nov. 14 at the Robins Center. The game will be televised on CSN+ (Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic). For more information on how to watch, please CLICK HERE.

Also, the game will air on the ODU Sports Radio Network, which includes ESPN Radio 94.1 FM (Norfolk), Sports FM 100.5 (Richmond), 94.1 FM WLVA and Fox Sports 580 (Lynchburg). Old Dominion Senior Associate Athletic Director Ted Alexander will take care of the play-by-play duties, while ODU Hall of Famer and former NBA champion Dave Twardzik will handle color commentary.

The Monarchs are coming off a 62-55 victory over JMU in their season opener on Friday in front of 8,241 at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, as Brandan Stith and Jordan Baker both registered career highs in scoring and combined for 44 points to pace the Monarchs. Stith scored 23 points and added 11 rebounds for a double-double, while Baker tallied 21 points.

Individually, Ahmad Caver and Zoran Talley each added six points and four assists for ODU, while Aaron Carver registered two points, six rebounds and two blocks.

On Friday night at Richmond, ShawnDre’ Jones scored a game-high 31 points to lead the Spiders to a 72-69 win over in-state foe VMI in front of a sold out Robins Center.

Last season, Old Dominion traveled to the Robins Center a suffered and 77-61 loss to Richmond on Dec. 16, 2015.
