EL PASO, Texas - Old Dominion University Football heads to El Paso, Texas, to take on UTEP Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET.

• Old Dominion is coming off of a 59-24 loss at WKU while UTEP won at UTSA 52-49 in five overtimes.

• Sophomore running back Jeremy Cox scored on an eight-yard touchdown run at WKU, recording his 10th touchdown of the season. He has scored a touchdown in every game he has played in this season.

• Senior quarterback David Washington was 17-for-28 for 236 yards and two touchdowns. Washington has tossed 14 touchdown passes to just two interceptions through seven games. He is tied for 30th in the FBS in touchdown passes.

• Senior wide receiver Zach Pascal moved into second place in ODU history in career receiving yards with 2,765.  He had four catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. He now ranks second in ODU career receptions and receiving yards. Antonio Vaughan is first in both categories.

• Sophomore wide receiver Travis Fulgham got the Monarchs on the board with a 53-yard touchdown grab in the second quarter. It was his third-straight game with a touchdown and second 50+ yard touchdown catch of the season.

• Sophomore safety Sean Carter had a career-best and game high 11 tackles at WKU. In seven games this season, he becomes the fifth different player to lead the Monarchs in tackles.

• ODU has forced a turnover in every game this season, and that continued with Aaron Young’s third quarter interception at WKU. ODU has seven interceptions already this season, compared to eight all of last year.

Turnover Margin
ODU had an interception by Aaron Young against WKU early in the third quarter but the Monarchs threw an interception late in the fourth quarter to keep their turnover margin at +9. ODU has forced a turnover in every game this season, and has turned the ball over just five teams so far this season.

Fulgham Three-Straight
Sophomore wide receiver Travis Fulgham caught a 53-yard touchdown pass in the loss at WKU, scoring a touchdown in his third straight game.  

The first three games of the season, Fulgham caught three passes for 41 yards. The last four he has pulled in 15 receptions for 234 yards and three touchdowns.

Ricks Closing in on Career Tackles Charts
Old Dominion senior linebacker TJ Ricks set the ODU single-season record for tackles last season with 123. He currently ranks third on the ODU career tackles charts with 281. He is currently 60 tackles away from breaking Wilkins’ record with five regular season games remaining.
