Last Two Home Matches: Fri. Marks Senior Night; ODU Welcomes LA Tech Sun.

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (4-8-0, 2-2-0 C-USA) will host Southern Miss (7-4-1, 1-3-1 C-USA) on Friday, Oct. 14 at 7:00 p.m. for Senior Night, before welcoming LA Tech (10-3-1, 2-2-0 C-USA) to the ODU Soccer Complex for ODU’s last regular season home match on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1:00 p.m.

Both matches can be viewed live in HD through C-USA TV.

Seniors Carly Goldsborough, Grace Haverly, Kathryn Hill, Melanie Oakes and Thyla Peterson will be honored before Friday’s match.

All dogs are welcome to the game on Sunday for ODU’s ‘Sunday Dog Days’ promotion.

The Lady Monarchs begin the week in a five-way tie for seventh place in the C-USA standings with six points. LA Tech is currently tied with ODU with six points, while Southern Miss trails with four points. The top eight of 14 teams after the regular season will earn a bid to the 2016 Conference USA Tournament in Charlotte, N.C. on Nov. 2-6.

Iris Achterhof currently leads Old Dominion in points with eight (three goals and two assists). Madison Hogan follows with seven points off three goals and an assist. Kathryn Hill has tallied five points with two goals and an assist.
