Game Four Preview: ODU vs. UTSA (Homecoming)

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football returns home to Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium after a two game road trip to take on UTSA in the annual homecoming game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The game will be broadcast on WTVZ and will be available on live stream on CUSA.TV (Subscription). Broadcast coverage of the game will begin at 2:30 p.m. on the ODU Sports Radio Networks and can be heard on ESPN Radio 94.1 in Hampton Roads, Sports FM 100.5 in Richmond and WLVA 94.1 and FOX Sports 580 in Lynchburg.

• This will be the second meeting between ODU and UTSA, as the Monarchs won last year in San Antonio, 36-31.

• The ODU offense gained 63 yards in the first half, but came back with 258 yards and three touchdowns in the second half at NC State.

• Sophomore running back Jeremy Cox rushed for a career-long 65-yard touchdown at NC State. Cox rushed nine times for 91 yards on the day.

• Zach Pascal had eight catches for 104 yards and two touchdowns. It was his eighth career 100-yad receiving game and fifth multi-touchdown game of his career.

• Senior linebacker TJ Ricks had a game-high 11 tackles and half a tackle for loss for ODU at NC State.

• Redshirt freshman safety Kane Miskel had a career-best nine tackles and half a tackle for loss.

• Senior defensive tackle Rashaad Coward had five tackles, half a sack, and 1.5 tackles for loss at NC State.

Long Boot
True freshman punter booted a 70-yard punt at NC State to back the Wolfpack against its own five yard-line in the first quarter. The 70-yarder is the third longest punt in FBS so far this season and the longest of Cate’s career.

The punt is the third longest punt in school history, trailing a pair of boots from former FCS All-American Jonathan Plisco. Plisco stills holds the FCS record for career punting average.
