NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Sailing started the season last weekend with three regattas, including hostiing the Riley Cup.
The Monarchs claimed third place at the Riley Cup as Jack Elkin and Carter Little won Division A, while Kyle Mergenthaler and Victoria Ewing took eighth place in Division B.
ODU competed in the Navy Laser single-handed in Annapolis. Jeremy Herrin finished in ninth place while Alec Chicoine took 11th.
At the Navy Radial single-handed regatta, Olivia Windemuller took 15th place.
This weekend the Monarchs compete in the Nevin's Trophy Regatta and the Stu Nelson Women's Regatta.
