RALEIGH, N.C. - Old Dominion University Football travels to NC State on Saturday, Sept. 17 for a 6 p.m. kickoff.

• Both teams are coming off of losses, ODU, a 31-7 setback at Appalachian State, while NC State fell 33-30 at East Carolina.

• NC State has won the previous two meetings, including last year, a 38-14 win in Norfolk.

• The ODU defense held Appalachian State to 97 yards in the second half, 39 of which came on a touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter.

• Junior Ray Lawry rushed for 119 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown last week at Appalachian State. Lawry has started the season off with consecutive 100-yard rushing games for the second-straight season.

• Senior Anthony Wilson registered a career-high 11 tackles and set an ODU single-game record with three sacks, the first three sacks of his career.

• Junior safety Justice Davila had 10 tackles and a pass breakup. He recorded 10 tackles against App State last season as well.

• Sophomore defensive linemen Oshane Ximines and Miles Fox each recorded career highs in tackles. Fox had eight tackles while Ximines had seven tackles.

The Meeting
This will be the third meeting between the two schools and second in Raleigh.  NC State won the first meeting in 2014, 46-34. ODU led 21-18 at halftime but NC State scored 28 second half points to pull away.  Last season in Norfolk, NC State won 38-14.

This will be the sixth time Old Dominion faces an ACC team and the fifth time on the road.

Defensive Highlights
The ODU defensive line is the deepest unit on the Monarch squad, and two of them had career days against App State. Miles Fox had career best eight tackles, while Oshane Ximines had seven stops. Both players are sophomores.

Davila Double-Digits Again
Junior safety Justice Davila’s career high in tackles is 12, last season against App State. This year, Davila had 10 tackles, all in the first half. He also had a pass breakup.

38 Straight and Counting
Senior wide receiver Zach Pascal has caught a pass in 38-straight games, every game he has played in at ODU. The streak is tied for the second longest in the country.
