NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (1-3-0) will host in-state rival William & Mary (2-1-0) at the ODU Soccer Complex on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 7:00 p.m. All home and away conference matches can be seen on Conference USA TV, by CLICKING HERE.
ODU is 1-1 at home so far this season with a 2-1 win over Richmond and a 2-1 loss against VCU. Old Dominion is most recently coming off a 4-0 loss against No. 4 nationally ranked Virginia in Charlottesville on Sunday afternoon.
Three of the Lady Soccer Monarchs four matches have been decided by one goal so far this season. ODU has received goals from Kathryn Hill, Madison Hogan and Alex Davidson.
Old Dominion and No. 25 William & Mary met in Williamsburg last season, in a match the Tribe claimed a 3-0 victory.
The Tribe enters Thursday night’s contest with a 2-1 overall record, with wins over ECU (3-0) and DePaul (2-1). William & Mary’s loss came at the hands of Maryland by a 3-2 score. W&M was selected to win the CAA by a vote of league's head coaches in the preseason.
Old Dominion will remain at home for a Sunday night showdown with East Carolina on Sept. 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Complex.
