Q: Why did you choose ODU?
A: ODU recruited me harder than anyone else, and they made me feel special. I wanted to go away from home for college, and it really felt like home here.
Q: Favorite thing about Hampton Roads?
A: My favorite thing is being close to the water. I love to fish, both salt and freshwater. The water being close by is great.
Q: What is your major?
A: My major is criminal justice with a minor in parks and recreation. I want to be a game warden.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: I have a lot of favorite movies, but I would have to say Stand By Me.
Q: Favorite music artist?
A: I would say Hank Williams, Jr.
Q: Favorite food?
A: My favorite food is fried chicken.
Q: Favorite NFL team?
A: I like the Atlanta Falcons.
Q: What is on your pregame playlist?
A: I like to listen to 90’s rap like Tupac and Outkast.
Q: Where is your dream vacation spot?
A: I would probably say the northern Canadian Rockies to go fly-fishing.
Q: Favorite part of gameday?
A: The electric atmosphere on gameday is awesome. It is cool to run out on the field and get high fives from everyone.
Q: Who do you look up to and why?
A: I look up to my high school offensive line coach. He is the one who proved to me that I could be a Division I athlete and maybe even go to the pros one day.
Q: Favorite athlete?
A: Right now, my favorite athlete is Jake Matthews, the offensive tackle for the Atlanta Falcons. My favorite athlete of all time would have to be Tony Gonzalez.
Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
A: I like to play video games competitively.
Q: Favorite spot to eat on or around campus?
A: I would go with the Dirty Buffalo.
Q: What are your team and individual goals for the season?
A: Individually, I want to be the best player I can be. I want to improve every day and hopefully help the team out a lot. Collectively, we want to be the best offensive line, offense and team in the country.
Q: Any gameday rituals?
A: I have a tight Under Armour shirt I wear every game. There is not much left of it these days.
