NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University head women’s soccer coach Angie Hind announced Gaby Bentley as the newest addition to the roster for the 2016 season on Friday afternoon.
Bentley, a 5’6 midfielder, reigns from Adelaide, Australia and attended at St. Dominic’s Priory. She played club ball for Adelaide United Football and was also selected for the U-20 Australian training camps.
“We are excited to have Gaby join the program,” said Hind. “She is a player that has played at a high level as a youth and someone who has shown versatility in playing both in midfield and in the back. She comes from a strong club environment, where she has been coached at a high level both with Adelaide and through her experience in national youth squad camps. I believe she will fit in well with the competitive and committed environment we now have here at ODU. We are excited to welcome Gaby to the Lady Monarch soccer program.”
Bentley joins seven other Lady Soccer Monarch newcomers for the 2016 season. To read more about the rest of the incoming class, please CLICK HERE.
