NORFOLK, Va. – Incoming ODU women’s soccer freshman Alex Davidson earned a spot on the girls All-America squad, as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Davidson, previously a senior at Frank W. Cox High School in Virginia Beach, was the Coastal Conference and Group 6A South Region Player of the Year and was first-team All-Tidewater and All-6A. She had 19 goals and three assists while leading the Falcons to the state final.

Davidson and the Lady Soccer Monarchs will host VMI on Aug. 10 for their first exhibition, before traveling to Towson on Aug. 13 for the second and final exhibition. Old Dominion will open up the 2016 regular season at George Mason on Aug. 19. ODU will have its regular season home opener on Aug. 21 against Richmond.
