NORFOLK, Va. – Football season tickets for the 2016 Old Dominion University Monarchs home season are available, now with the ability to select your own seat and tailgate spot, and stagger your payments.
The ODU athletic department announced the customer-friendly options for new football season ticket purchasers are available, following the conclusion of the seating requests for current season ticket holders.
The best available seats are open now, including sideline seats, and fans have the option for the first time, to select their own season seats online at www.ynottix.com. The “select-your-seat” option is available to view and select open seats throughout S.B. Ballard Stadium, or fans may elect to choose the “best available” option.
Also new this year is a payment plan for season tickets, allowing fans to split the season ticket cost into four equal payments. The first payment of $46.75 per seat is due at the time of purchase, plus a one-time processing fee of $10. Subsequent payments will be debited from the customer’s credit card on August 15th, September 15th and October 15th. The new payment plan allows fans to secure the best available seats now and pay later. The payment plan option is only available by phone at this time by calling 757-683-7087.
ODU is also offering a new opportunity for season ticket holders to experience the excitement of tailgating with the Monarchs. Any season ticket holder of four or more seats, who does not receive ODAF parking, may claim a tailgating spot by paying a $25 opt-in fee for the season. The new tailgating spaces will be located in the surface lot beside McDonald’s, on Hampton Boulevard, known as the “Monarch Village Lot.”
The price for 2016 season tickets is $187 and includes six home games. Currently, season seats are available in sections 101-103, 107-109, 115-116, and 120-122. A family plan season ticket option is offered to families that purchase four or more seats within sections 101 and 122. The family plan provides a discounted season ticket of $157 per seat, and plan purchasers are eligible for the payment plan and tailgating spot. Discounted season seats are also available for ODU faculty and staff by calling the ticket office.
