NORFOLK, Va. - Thursday morning produced another rainy, windy practice for Old Dominion University Football in the eighth practice of the spring for the Monarchs.
The Monarchs handled the weather as Shuler Bentley fired a 70-yard touchdown pass to Joey Verhaegh while Ray Lawry and Gemonta Jackson ripped off several nice runs.
The defense also made plays as Scott Wiggins and Jude Brenya recovered fumbles at the goalline.
