NORFOLK, Va. - Grace Mason, a member of the sailing team was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing on Tuesday, April 19.
As a senior, a student must be in the top third of their nursing class in order to be inducted. Mason currently has a 3.78 cumulative GPA and has earned Dean’s List every semester. She has also earned a spot on the ICSA All-Academic Team, which requires students to have a 3.5 or above GPA and have competed in at least eight college sailing regattas during the year. She is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is an active participant in civic engagement. After graduation, Mason and the sailing team will be competing in the ICSA National Championship in San Diego.
