NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football held its 13th practice of the spring and also held its annual Special Olympics Little Feet Meet today at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
The Monarchs practice in helmets for a little over an hour this morning and worked predominantly on position drills and two-minute drill.
In the first two-minute portion, Shuler Bentley lofted a 55 yard touchdown pass to Marques Little while Blake LaRussa led the offense to a Chris Kirtley field goal.
After practice, the Monarchs participated in the Special Olympics Little Feet Meet that featured several hundred participants from local schools. The players helped the participants to and from stations and helped them perform the drills.
