NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football held its first full-padded practice of the spring Tuesday morning at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex practice fields.
The first time doing full tackle drills in practice brought a high energy day for the Monarchs. Running back Jeremy Cox broke off several big runs while Marvin Branch notched a sack for the defense.
The passing game also produced big plays as Shuler Bentley connected with Joey Verhaegh and Zach Pascal for big gains while Drayton Arnold also hit Verhaegh for a 20-yard gain while lake LaRussa threw a strike oto Gemonta Jackson.
