WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Senior men's golfer Seth Sweet remains in eighth place out of 126 golfers heading into the third and final day of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary. In the team race, Old Dominion is tied for ninth place with Ohio out of 24 teams in the field.
Penn State and Tennessee are tied for first on the team leaderboard after two rounds of action, while Old Dominion shot a 298 in round two and is tied with Ohio for ninth place. The Monarchs and the Bobcats currently have a score of 589 and are just four strokes behind eighth-place Maryland.
After shooting a tournament-record 64 (-6) in rund two, Penn State's Charles Huntzinger extended his first place lead in the individual standings. Seth Sweet leads the pack for the Monarchs in eighth place after firing a two-over 72 on Monday to go along with a 70 on Sunday.
ODU's David Langley shot a 75 in round two and is tied for 23rd place heading into Tuesday's final round. Calvin Greschner shot a 79 and is tied for 73rd place.
Seth Sweet is currently tied for second for par five scoring average (4.25) and is tied for fourth for most pars with 26.
The third and final round of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate will commence Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
